I attended beginner and follow up workshops in 2012, and found them excellent. I remain grateful for the insights into myself gained, no matter what else happens. Things have been much better with my sense of self since but I also (from a purely practical pov), have many more misfires than successes when I try to urinate in public.
I am trying to get back into practising desensing more regularly, but find the washed out feeling afterwards really problematic. I basically have to find a day where I've nothing else on afterwards, as I feel headachy, weak, etc. Perhaps I am taking on too much liquid in the first place (about two litres, I'd say), but for the moment I need a fairly acute urgency to desense, so that's not going to change.
Has anyone found foods that are good to take post desensing, foods that stabilise, take away lightheadedness, etc?
