Please support our work
The UK Paruresis Trust is run on a voluntary basis. All officers undertake their duties voluntarily.
The majority of the income of the UK Paruresis Trust is by voluntary donations. We have many expenses like telephone, administration, website, stationary, IT, postage etc.
We arrange weekend residential therapy workshops, and we would like to enable anyone to attend them, whatever their personal financial circumstances.
There are many other things we would like to do to reduce the stigma of paruresis, and encourage people suffering from the condition to come forward for help sooner rather than later. We would like to increase the awareness of paruresis in the general public, in the medical profession, and in other front line support organisations.
We need your help
All donations are welcome, no matter the size. To ease administration, regular payments by standing order (either monthly or annually) are particularly welcome.

If you prefer, you can donate by Paypal by using the button below. All donations are much appreciated and will directly support the work of the organisation. Furthermore if you are a tax payer we should be very grateful if you would consider gift aiding your donation. In this way UKPT can claim an extra 25p for every £1 you donate without it costing you any extra. Please scroll down for further details.
Gift Aid
Gift Aid is an income tax relief designed to benefit charities. If you’re a UK taxpayer using Gift Aid means that for every pound you give, we get an extra 25p from the Inland Revenue, helping your donation to go further.
This means that £100 can be turned into £125, just so long as donations are made through Gift Aid. Imagine what a difference that could make, and it doesn’t cost you a thing.
All you need to do is fill out our Gift Aid Declaration (GAD) form below so that we can receive tax back on your donation.
For the UKPT to claim Gift Aid on your donation, you must have paid UK Income or Capital Gains Tax that financial year. If your income is below £11,000, you won’t be able to claim Gift Aid on eligible donations.
If you’re a higher rate taxpayer, you can claim additional benefits for the donations you make to charity, which you can keep or pass on to a charitable organisation. Simply indicate how much you’ve donated when you complete your self-assessment form.
