I just read this book, and it was incredibly helpful in understanding our problem.It doesn't mention AP but it discusses why people develop problems such as this. Its all to do with the sub conscious and in particular the part of the brain called the Amygdala, which basically lives in a world of its own and simply ignores our instructions to pee if we are anxious. It governs the sympathetic nervous system, and the fight freeze or flight mechanism. That is discussed on this site but it goes further than I had thought and more importantly suggests well researched exercises to combat these problems. I've found it a great help, give it a go!
