I wanted to share the joy I am feeling this morning with you.
I have just obtained the goal I had for 2024 & have had my first whole calendar year without a misfire!
I’ve suffered with paruresis since around the age of 25 & it is the very first year I have ever had no misfires in the almost 30 years since it began!
This month is nine years since I attended my first workshop & began my recovery to the point where I am today.
Until a year ago I kept a diary of every time I went to a toilet & my eight year urinal success rate then was 2,053 so that success has increased even further.
Start your 2025 by attending workshops, follow-up workshops, practicing, desensing, fluid loading and learn from these & the subsequent paperwork you get to take home from the workshops & remembering what you’ve read when you go to use toilets.
It’s not your bladder that stops you urinating - it’s you yourself. Learn how to overcome this.
I do have slight uncertainties from time to time about whether my level of urgency is strong enough to have a success when I go into the gents but when I have tried I have succeeded at the urinal.
I have had great success. So can YOU!
