Reply: Feedback from Beginners workshop Reading 2-4 Feb 2018

I attended this workshop and understandably felt quite nervous on arrival. I was made to feel at ease very quickly and found the weekend, informative and a great way to meet people in a similar situation. It has helped me with some useful pointers and I feel I now have an action plan for overcoming my paruresis which I am making progress on bit by bit.

Before the workshop, I read almost all the content on this website, especially the CBT part. However I am very happy that I attended it.

It was very helpful. I think I have made some progress since then.

I attended the Reading beginners and I would recommend it without hesitation, the workshop leaders and the guys on the course were great and could have not been more helpful.
There is no pressure on anybody and we were all free to operate at our own pace and never having to leave our own comfort zone, every body was nervous at the start but I am sure we all benefited.
I will certainly be attending a follow up course.

It was the second time Ive been to a begginers workshop, so I wasn’t too apprehensive about going, and sure enough it was again increadibly welcoming, non judgemental, inclusive, relaxing and pretty much good in everyway.
The workshop leaders and all those present were all very lovely and easy to get along with.
I certainly did and I think all if not most partisipants improved increadibly over such a short period!
I couldn’t believe how much progress I had made, and was able, though challenging to complete the task I had set myself for the long train journey home.
I cannot recommend going on the course enough, and cant wait to use all the techniques ive learnt and to come and do a follow up course!
So a Massive Thankyou to UKPT and Everyone Ive met so far!
