Hello all. I recently looked into paruresis as this is a condition I have, indeed I think I've always had it (I'm 54 now). As a youngster I would always use a cubicle rather than a urinal. If going out, I avoid places where I know cubicles are not private and available. I also really struggle on trains or planes. In recent times it's got worse – I now struggle to urinate in our en-suite bathroom even though my wife is sleeping in the next room. So I've decided to join up and see if I can get get advice and support from this group. I'll take some time to read through your own experiences on this forum and I plan to sign up for a workshop – from what I've see, the Cognitive Behaviour Therapy is the best route to explore. Thanks for listening! Andy
