Toilet travels

Some of you who keep an eye on the discussion boards will know that I am heading off today to go trekking in the Himalayas. I thought I'd post some toilet updates while I'm away (my husband calls it my bog blog!) to let you know how things are going. I'd hoped it would be full of instances of me managing really well but I have started with a bit of a blip. I felt a bit unwell on the train down to London so had a long snooze. Usually on trains I keep an eye on the toilets and sneak out to use them when there is no queue but because I was asleep I missed the perfect moment and instead found myself queuing up to use it and under double pressure as we were nearly at Euston. Consequently that toilet visit didn't work out. However, I'm feeling better, at Heathrow now where are rows and rows of toilets, noisy hand driers, and everyone is focussed on getting in and out as quick as they can so I was able to do what I needed to do! There are a couple of hours before we board the plane. I can't say I'm looking forward to the flight but I have done it before and know I can cope so hopefully that's my holiday blip already out of the way - there's usually a blip somewhere along the way. Will try to let you know how things go in Nepal.
