I just wanted to share a tip i found useful whilst looking for different ways to beat/improve my problem with shy bladder.
Living a very busy lifestyle, working long hours, socialising and regularly going to the gym i started to use more and more caffeine/energy drinks to keep myself going throught the long day. Since the age of 16 i developed a very mild case of AP that was almost non-existent. But when i started to use all the stimulants i developed a long series of panic attack which came hand in hand with a much more serious AP problem. Over the past three weeks i have totally cut all stimulants out of my everyday diet and have began to notice a improvement. I'm not claming this to be a gaureented cure but i have found that the severity of my AP has reduced substancially and being that caffeine is a diuretic it reduces the frequency in which i need to pee. If anybody does decide to try this i would be very interested to know if it has helped.

Hi Josh
We recommend people to cut down on the caffeine i.e. coffee, coke, energy drinks and to some extent tea - because research has shown that caffeine significantly increases any existing anxiety. e.g. one espresso doubled the anxiety. I cannot remember how it scaled up but you can readily see that double shot coffees during the day can add up.
On top of that, as you say, coffee (and tea) are diuretics, so make you pee more often. I also find that real coffee (i.e. not instant) irritates to such an extent that it makes we need to wee even tho there is hardly anything there.
So as you say Josh, guys try cutting down (or cutting out) the coffeee to say just one a day to get you awake!
