I saw that advert on the same day! In a motorway services toilet.
It is specifically targeted at the difficulties faced by men with slightly enlarged prostates i.e. the purely physical problems. However it does refer to both starting a flow, and dealing with an uncontrolled need to pee. So it would be interesting to try it.
For anyone reading this, the website has a questionnaire you answer it order to get a score; you can then print it off and show it to a pharmacist, for him/her to assess whether the drug would be worth trying. I shall probably try it myself. The questions all relate to physical issues and not to paruresis; so there is no need to admit to paruresis. Having said that, it is really only open to men over 45.
So if you are over 45, and have peeing symptoms of mild enlarged prostate e.g. long hesitancy, inadequate emptying, urgent need to go, frequency of peeing, especially at night, it is very worth while doiong. It MAY even help with the paruresis by giving more control over the sphincter. I say MAY, cos no-one knows till its tried.
cheers
