I'm pleased that I have managed to continue to put into practice some of the techniques I learned at the last workshop in September. Mostly I have managed fairly well over the last few weeks - just one occasion caused me difficulty. One of the things I have a real problem with is time pressure when there are other people waiting - a common occurrence in female toilets. Recently I was hospital visiting and needed to use the toilet. There were 2 ladies cubicles although one was out of order, so just one operating toilet. I hoped to be able to nip in, use it quickly and then nip out, but someone came in just as I was entering the cubicle. I tried so hard to relax and remember that the toilet was mine for as long as I needed it. Alas, the woman waiting was not blessed with patience - after a few minutes of waiting (I still hadn't managed to get started) she tutted, gave a loud sigh and noisily went out. Destroying my confidence as she went.
