Anyone looking for a pee buddy in Hertfordshire or London please feel free to e-mail me. I've tried desensing alone and, while it can be beneficial, can also be a pretty lonely, dispiriting experience, feeling too contrived and less like a genuine social situation. I used to have a buddy I met on Andrew's course some years ago. His condition was milder than mine and he has made as near a full recovery as you can get. We used to get together for a few beers and a natter.. if anyone would like to do the same? I'm in my mid-forties and have put up with this curse since I was 11 or 12. I just about get by at work with ap, but social situations are uncomfortable, and as my young son gets older I know I need to be more motivated.
Hi Steve - as time has passed since you posted, you may well be fixed up? - I am in the "much improved" category having gained some mastery over it since my mid-forties (now turned 60 :-( Mine began in infants school aged 6!! Very happy to have a beer or two and see if I can be of any help. - Best wishes
Hi Steve and Mark. Have had shy bladder since childhood. 58 now. But looking to do something about it at last. Think that the pee buddy route could be the thing. If either of you are still looking for someone to work with then please leave a message and I will give my details. I live in south london.
Hi Peter, sorry for the delay. Drop me an e-mail if you're still interested in arranging something. I'm in London tomorrow, by the way, although I know that is short notice.
Peter: I am in London quite often for work and have clients to see in Stratham/Balham areas. Happy to try to mee for coffee etc - email me at hotmail shown above and see if we can organise a meet if still keen. Cheers
