Just wondered if anyone knows anything about a procedure called Sacral Neuromodulation,quite a mouthful but it involves inserting a wire next to the nerves that control the muscle of the bladder and passing a current that is controlled by a remote controlled device in your pocket that stimulates the nerves which in turn has an effect on the sphincter muscle.Its mainly aimed at over active bladder sufferers but can be applied to urinary retention sufferers. Oh the bad news, according to the daily mail it will cost £11,000 to £15,000 for the procedure
