Hi both Though using a cath is easy once you have experienced it, I do not think it wise to try it first time unaided. There is real scope for self-damage. Also if there is any difficulty, the user could be wrongly put off. Andy I will email you a report on the benefits of self-cathing produced by a group of nurses; you could show that to your GP. cheers Andrew
