There's probably loads of men who'd make a pub that did this their regular 'local'. They'd probably go there more often and drink more whilst in there.
Once word got round (in the industry publications?) that something like this produced more profits then others might follow suit - but maybe most landlords probably don't know about it, or maybe those that do know might dismiss it until they heard a few divider boards would make them more money.
Does the UKPT send any kind of letters to Landlords etc?
Maybe the government would offer grants for this? If a significant section of the public are suffering with it then maybe government should do something about it, like offer the pubs a few hundred quid in grants to help them do it?
