Got myself into town again this morning for the sole purpose of going to the loo! This is becoming a natural, if slightly bizare, part of my life these days.
Headed straight for the busiest toilet and was pleased to find someone at the trough when I went in. Stood at the other end and tried to relax. I find it helpful to talk to myself as I'm trying to go. I tell myself how the other guy is doing just the same as me and that he's completely dissinterested in me even being there, let alone what I am doing. I also recall successful atempts in the same toilet. If you try this, remember to do it in your head!! Forget yourself and do it out loud and you could find yourself in a spot of bother!!
Anyway, the other guy finished and left but as he did, another came in. I stood my ground until that guy had also moved on but when a third came in, I decided to try again later.
I bought a take away coffee (only £1, just round the corner!) and went for a short walk which took me past a much quieter loo. I decided to pop in and let just a small amount go as I find this makes going the next time much easier.
By the time I got back to the first loo, I was fairly desparate. Unfortunately, so was half the town!!
Again I stayed in there but you know what it's like guys - if you can't go, you just CAN'T GO!
So, off I went to the bank and, despite feeling rather uncomfortable, left it a while before returning for the third time.
What a releif to find myself alone this time. After the previous experiences, it took longer than usual to start, but what a relief when it did. What's more, I was rewarded by someone coming in whilst I was going and I managed to keep going (though at rather reduced flow).
The moral of this story is: Don't let what seems like a set back put you off. Every experience has it's positive side. If you can't go at the first, second or whatever time, just come back later (so long as you've got the time and your not going to wet yourself!).
Cheers Guys,
